Opening front wall, steel protection panel for entrance, the back wall has bars to help fasten to a tree. The opening front wall has climbing tracks for nestlings.
The nest box has appropriate equipment for fastening.
Colours: Red, decayed-wood grey and birch.
Fastening instructions
Willow Tit likes to use slices of juniper bark as nest building material, so it’s good if there are junipers near the fastening site. The nest box is filled entirely with cutter chips or decayed wood.
The nesting bird digs a hole of its liking and tosses out the extra, usually most of it.
Fastening height: 1,5– 2 metres.
