Oravabaari – squirrel feeder

Frame is 21 mm conifer plywood, bottom panel is soaked in flaxseed oil. The backwall and bottom panel have ventilation lines, so nuts wouldn’t spoil easily. It’s nice to follow and observe the squirrel and how fast it learns to open the hinged protection panel to get to the nuts. This feeder is also helpful if the squirrel has a habit of disturbing birds eating.

Capacity is about 1,3 litres.

The feeder is easy to fasten to a tree, a wall, a pole or it can be placed on a flat base.
